I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable despite some noise from the room above early in the morning starting at 4 am. I enjoyed having light meals at the cafeteria. The hotel offers a cozy atmosphere for a relaxed stay.

I found the rooms to be very comfortable, although I was a bit bothered by the noise from the room above early in the morning. The option to have light meals at the cafeteria was convenient.

The service was top-notch. The staff was not only friendly and professional but also incredibly helpful. They made my stay enjoyable and hassle-free.
Location

The location was beautiful and convenient, right in front of a large park, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It's very close to the town of Urubamba and the train station for Machu Picchu trips.
Dining

The dining experience was very good overall. I especially liked that there was someone making omelets, which is always a plus. It was one of the best dining experiences I had in Peru.

8.2/10

The hotel exudes a charming rustic vibe and offers spacious and comfortable rooms. The service truly immerses you in the enchanting atmosphere, making for a very comfortable stay. However, the location, while beautiful, has little to offer in terms of nearby amenities.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms are small but nicely set up with 2 Queen beds, table, chest of drawers, chair, and TV, giving a bit of a rustic yet attractive feel.
Service
9.0
The staff here truly 'bought into the magic' of the place, going the extra mile like weighing luggage and peeling pineapples, ensuring a delightful experience.
Location
7.0
The surroundings, with many plantings against a backdrop of mountains, create a picturesque setting. However, the area lacks nearby amenities.
Dining

The dining experience is exceptional, boasting a great-chef cooked egg station and a wide selection of dishes catering to various tastes, starting early for those heading to Machu Picchu.

7.0/10

The hotel has rustic, clean rooms that add charm to its atmosphere. However, noise from the street and above can be disturbing, and the lack of insulation between levels requires booking a second-floor room to minimize disruptions. Breakfast is limited, and dining at the hotel restaurant led to an unpleasant experience the following day. Additionally, the bathroom cleanliness was initially good, but issues with clogged drains and uncovered trash were unsanitary. The hotel's location, though beautiful against the Andes Mountains, is not within walking distance of the town.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are rustic but clean, adding to the charm of the hotel, although being poorly insulated against noise from the street and above.
Service
8.0
The staff, from receptionists to porters, are extremely efficient and supportive, even going the extra mile like peeling a pineapple we bought locally. However, they were unable to assist with a phone issue.
Location
6.0
The hotel is in a remote location with a backdrop of the Andes Mountains, offering little within walking distance except for a few decent restaurants nearby.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience, although pretty good with a variety of dishes and chef-prepared made-to-order eggs, resulted in an unpleasant incident after dining at the hotel restaurant.
Facilities
The facilities are decent, although there were issues with bathroom cleanliness and noise insulation in the rooms.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were awesome with heating but unfortunately infested with bugs from the days as a monastery. The service was exceptional with very courteous and helpful staff from the receptionists to the porters. The location was a beautiful setting amidst the tranquil valley but off a dark alley. The dining experience had its flaws but was decent overall.
